Kruesa Thmey - 'New Family'

We visited a new project called Kruesa Thmey. This NGO looks after children in serious danger of falling through the cracks through abuse, trafficking and the absence of a caring, safe family. The team visited the emergency centre, which tries to transition the children to long-term care. For those that make it, therapy, counselling, the care of a foster family (pictured above and below), and vocational guidance offer the prospect of an everyday life. We were made aware of Kruesa Thmey through Sophea (above right), a young lady we have known since our first days in Cambodia.
